National U19 Qualifiers: SLNA wins consecutively, close to Da Nang

Previously, the young Nghe An team under the leadership of coach Nguyen Van Tien lost 0-1 to SHB Da Nang in the opening match and won 3-0 against host U19 Hue in the second match.

In the third round, after 90 minutes of official play, U19 SLNA defeated U19 Thanh Hoa with a score of 4-3. The players who scored for the young team from Nghe An were Khac Luong, Manh Quynh and a "double" from Van Luong.

On January 18, SLNA's first team had their second friendly match against Ulsan Hyundai Club (Korea) at PVF Stadium. SLNA's coaching staff sent out 4 foreign players for trial, including 2 foreign central defenders and 2 strikers to test their abilities. As a result, SLNA lost 1-4 to Ulsan Hyundai.
