VTV Cup: Filipino cyclist continues to win stage 3 to Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 4, in Cua Lo Town, 79 cyclists of the VTV International Cycling Race for the Ton Hoa Sen Cup, Stage 3, Thanh Hoa - Nghe An, successfully crossed the finish line.

Cyclist Ronald Oranza excellently finished first in stage 3 of VTV CUP

Starting from Thanh Hoa, after traveling over 140km, the cyclists reached the finish line at Binh Minh Square, Cua Lo town at 11am. The first to finish was the racer with jersey number 96 - Ronald Oranza of the Philippine Navy Standard Insurance Team. The other racers were Le Van Duan (VUS Ho Chi Minh City team); Kim Hongil (Korail Cycle Team); Tran Nguyen Minh Tri (Doc Domesco Dong Thap team); Tran Thanh Nhanh (Premium Cycling Vinh Long team) who finished next in the top 5.

BTC awarded prizes to the racers with the highest achievements in stage 3.

The 2017 VTV International Cycling Tournament Ton Hoa Sen Cup consists of 14 stages with a total route of more than 16,000km along the length of the country. The race will end in Ho Chi Minh City on September 17. This year's race has 84 cyclists (79 remaining after stage 2) from 7 domestic teams and 4 new international guest teams including the Philippines, Korea, the Netherlands, and Singapore.

Tomorrow, September 5, the race will continue with stage 4 with a 45km route around Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City).
