Case of 2 bodies in concrete block: 1 victim from Nghe An

From documents collected during the investigation, the police have decided to prosecute the case of discovering two dead bodies in a concrete block in Bau Bang district, Binh Duong.

On the morning of May 19, Binh Duong Provincial Police announced that they had initiated criminal proceedings against a shocking murder case that occurred on May 15 at a rented house.

The two victims were initially identified as Tran Duc Linh (from Nghe An) and Tran Tri Thanh (temporarily residing in Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh City), both between 30 and 35 years old.

Through investigation, the police identified the two victims and the group of suspects including: Pham Thi Thien Ha (31 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City), Le Ngoc Phuong Thao (29 years old, from Tien Giang) and several others as a group practicing "Falun Gong".

During their activities, this group gathered together and moved to many different locations to practice.

Around the end of 2018, this group rented house number 90 in Hamlet 5, Hung Hoa Commune, Bau Bang District to live and practice. In December 2018, the group drove to a villa in Xuyen Moc District (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) to rent a room there to open a practice class. During this time, Linh was said to have been "possessed by a demon" leading to her murder by this group.

After this practice session, this group of people brought Linh's body back to house number 90, put it in a plastic box, and then continued their normal activities.

During this time, Thanh was also believed to be possessed by a demon, so he was locked in a room, then electrocuted to death by this group, and put in a concrete barrel to avoid the stench so he could practice.

In early May 2019, the remaining members of the group left two bodies in the house and rented a hotel in Thu Dau Mot City to live together before being arrested.
