7 deaths: Music night organizer arrested
Regarding the case of 7 victims who died at a music festival at a water park, on the afternoon of September 21, the Hanoi City Police Department issued an emergency arrest warrant for Le Thai Son (26 years old, registered residence at Hang Bong Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi).
Son is the Director of Asia Connection Company Limited, the organizer of the 2018 Autumn Music Night event at West Lake Water Park on the evening of September 16.

It is known that Le Thai Son was arrested for violating regulations on labor safety, labor hygiene, and safety in crowded places, as stipulated in Article 295 of the 2015 Penal Code. According to the investigation agency, Le Thai Son is responsible for the deaths of 7 victims.
On the same day, the investigation agency executed a search warrant at Son's residence and workplace.
Previously, the Hanoi City Police Department also issued an emergency arrest warrant for Bui Manh Duy (19 years old, living in lane 160 Bach Dang, Chuong Duong ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) for the crime of "Enticing others to illegally use drugs".
It is known that before attending the music night, Duy invited 15 young people to participate, organized a fundraiser to buy 10 ecstasy pills and marijuana, and distributed them to group members to use at the music night.
Among these 15 people, there was 1 victim of drug shock who had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment, Nguyen Canh V (18 years old, residing in Hang Trong ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi).

Regarding this case, on September 17, the Hanoi City Police Department of Investigation initiated a case of “Concealing the illegal use of drugs” and “Enticing others to illegally use drugs”.
It is known that during the investigation of the scene, the police seized a number of plastic bags containing ketamine and many items suspected of containing synthetic drugs, along with hundreds of used laughing gas balloons.
The investigation agency is also clarifying the case of Asia Company and another unit "cooperating" to sell "laughing gas" (N2O gas - a dangerous substance) at the music night.
