Horrific slashing incident in front of school gate: 2 more suspects surrender

On the afternoon of November 17, the Criminal Police Department of Thua Thien-Hue Province Police said that after a period of mobilization, two subjects, Van Viet Huy (21 years old, residing at 2/7/10 Hai Trieu, An Cuu Ward, Hue City, working as a camera installer) and Ton That Cuong (25 years old, residing in La Khe Village, Thuy Bang Commune, Huong Thuy Town, working as an agarwood craftsman) came to the police station to surrender due to their involvement in a murder case that occurred in the area.

Currently, Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police have decided to temporarily detain the above two subjects to conduct legal proceedings according to the provisions of law.

As previously reported, due to a previous conflict, at around 7:00 p.m. on November 6, Tran Ngoc Son (20 years old, residing in Thuy Xuan ward, Hue city) and Le Huu Thien Minh (21 years old, residing in An Cuu ward, Hue city) and 4 other people, including: Vo Anh Tuan, Vo Duc Tu, Phan Tan Phong, Vo Cong Quy (all residing in Hue city) made an appointment with Vo Cong Hung's group (26 years old, residing in An Tay ward, Hue city) and 2 others to come to Huyen Tran Primary School (An Tay ward, Hue city).

Here, after meeting, both groups used pre-prepared weapons to chase and slash each other. The fight left Hung slashed many times, leading to serious injuries, so he was later transferred to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment. However, Hung later died, so the police initiated a criminal case.

Regarding this case, Thua Thien-Hue Provincial Police have arrested Tran Ngoc Son, Le Huu Thien Minh and several other suspects related to the case to clarify the murder.
