Husband sets wife and children on fire with gasoline: Wife has died.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 30th, after being transferred home from the hospital a day earlier, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Dam, from Hamlet 5B, Nam Thanh Commune, Nam Dan District - the wife who was set on fire by her husband with gasoline - passed away while on her way back to the hospital.

Accordingly, at approximately 12:15 PM on the same day, while the family was transporting the victim back to the National Burn Institute, the victim passed away in Dien Chau district as the ambulance reached the area.

As previously reported, on the evening of July 27th, after returning home from drinking, due to a marital dispute, Tran Van Giang poured gasoline on his wife, Nguyen Thi Oanh Dam, and their child, then set them on fire.

The incident resulted in the death of the 9-month-old baby and severe burns to Ms. Dam. The victim was transferred to the National Burn Institute for emergency treatment, but due to severe third and fourth-degree burns covering 90% of her body, the hospital advised the family to take her home for care.

The Nam Dan District Police have initiated a criminal case and temporarily detained Giang for investigation into the crime of murder.
