(Baonghean.vn)- On the afternoon of July 30, after a day of being transferred from the hospital to home, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Dam, in hamlet 5B, Nam Thanh commune, Nam Dan district - the wife who was doused with gasoline and set on fire by her husband, died on the way back to the hospital.

Accordingly, at about 12:15 pm on the same day, when the family was transferring the victim back to the National Burn Institute, when the ambulance arrived at Dien Chau district, the victim breathed his last.

As previously reported, on the evening of July 27, after coming home drunk, due to a marital conflict, Tran Van Giang poured gasoline on Nguyen Thi Oanh Dam (Giang's wife) and her child and set them on fire.

The incident resulted in the death of a 9-month-old baby and severe burns to Ms. Dam. The victim was transferred to the National Burn Institute for emergency treatment, but due to severe third and fourth degree burns covering 90% of her body, the hospital recommended that the family take the victim home for care.

Nam Dan District Police have initiated a criminal case and temporarily detained Giang to investigate the murder./.
