Previously, according to the report of the verification team established by Ben Luc district, on February 28, Mr. Vo Hoa Thuan, his wife and two other parents of students in class 4/3, Binh Chanh Primary School (Nhat Chanh commune), went to the school to report that the teacher punished students by making them kneel for violating the rules.
During the discussion between the parents about the incident, teacher N., homeroom teacher of class 4/3, had to kneel down and apologize to Mr. Thuan.
According to the verification team's report, Mr. Thuan has not fully cooperated as requested by the verification team and his act of using words to force the teacher to kneel shows signs of violating the law.
Therefore, Ben Luc District People's Committee requested the District Police to continue to clarify the content of the incident, following the procedure to clarify issues related to the security and order situation in the area to report to the district for further handling.
"The police have not yet reported, so we can confirm that the district has not transferred the case file to request a criminal investigation as some information is spreading," Mr. Tuoi affirmed.
Regarding Mr. Thuan's signs of violations, the Party Committee of Nhut Chanh commune issued a decision to inspect Party members and requested the Party cell of Hamlet 6, where Mr. Thuan is active, to review and handle Party members. The Party cell unanimously proposed a warning.
Afterwards, the Party Committee of Nhut Chanh commune met to vote on the Party disciplinary measure against Party member Vo Hoa Thuan, which is expulsion from the Party, and reported and requested the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee to consider and handle the matter.
After review, the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee found that the disciplinary measure of expulsion against Party member Vo Hoa Thuan was appropriate, and issued a disciplinary decision at this level.
Mr. Tuoi added that next week, the district will continue to meet to consider disciplining the Principal of Binh Chanh Primary School for his lack of responsibility in management, operation, and handling of the incident.
Regarding teacher N., although she violated the things that teachers are not allowed to do as stipulated in the Primary School regulations, because she has a child under 12 months old, disciplinary action is not currently being considered, only the teacher's responsibility is being reviewed.
