According to Ms. Maridam, the interpreter for Doan Thi Huong in court, this trial is basically the same as the previous ones. The new point this time is that the Court has decided to transfer the case to the Shah Alam High Court, also in Selangor state. However, the exact time has not been determined.
At this trial, the prosecutor said that the case file had been completed. However, the defense attorneys for the two defendants have yet to receive the requested documents, including the autopsy results of the victim Kim Chol and the video recording at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2, where the murder took place. The prosecutor said that the documents requested by the attorneys will be provided at the upcoming trial.

Ms. Maridam said that the health of the suspect Doan Thi Huong is good. The suspect is a bit worried, saying that she has been in prison for a long time and does not know what the situation will be like.
Previously, on February 13, a North Korean citizen whose passport name is Kim Chol, believed to be Kim Jong-nam, the older brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, was assassinated at Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 while waiting for a flight to Macau, China.
A number of suspects have been arrested by Malaysian authorities to assist in the investigation, including Doan Thi Huong and Siti Aisyah. In previous trials, also held at the Sepang Court, the two female suspects were accused of murdering a North Korean citizen and under Malaysian law will face the death penalty if convicted./.
