Director shoots and threatens women: Violent behavior is unacceptable!
Tan Binh District Police said that on the morning of December 6, Mr. Bui Duc Phuong - Director of An Ninh Viet Nhat Security Company Limited (located at Cong Lo Street, Ward 15, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) went to the police station to verify and clarify the incident in which Mr. Phuong pulled out a gun to threaten someone and then fired into the air.
Initially, Mr. Phuong admitted everything and said the reason was due to a conflict between the two sides.
Accordingly, Mr. Bui Huu Phuc (18 years old, living in Tan Binh district) used to work at An Ninh Viet Nhat company, where Mr. Phuong was the director. Mr. Phuc quit his job 2 months ago and the company still owes him more than 4 million VND in salary. After many times going to the company to ask for his salary but failed.

On the afternoon of December 5, Mr. Phuong and his mother, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy (45 years old), went to the company to demand more than 4 million VND in salary from Mr. Phuc, but Mr. Phuong promised to pay on January 5, 2017. Mrs. Thuy did not agree, so a conflict arose with Mr. Phuong.
While the two sides were arguing, Mr. Phuong pulled a gun out of his pocket, loaded it, pointed it at Thuy's head, and threatened to shoot. Seeing this, Mrs. Thuy challenged him, "Shoot, shoot," then Mr. Phuong pointed the gun up into the air and fired into the air.
Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council meeting on the afternoon of December 6, Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong said that the act of shooting and threatening a woman by the director of a security company was unacceptable.
Mr. Phong said he was aware of the incident. The man, identified as Bui Duc Phuong (director of the Viet Nhat Security Service Company, Cong Lo Street, Ward 15, Tan Binh District), used a gun to shoot into the air, threatening the woman who came here to demand her child's salary.
Mr. Phong added that the city's leaders are currently waiting for the police to have a specific report on why the company has guns and what kind of guns they are. "In any case, that behavior is unacceptable. After receiving a specific report from the city's police, the city's People's Committee will have directions for investigation and handling," said Mr. Phong.
