Murder of 2 people due to land dispute: Suspect died by hanging
The suspect in the murder of two people due to a land dispute was found hanged and dead.
According to information recently received by reporters, the authorities of Yen Bai province have found the suspect who killed two people in An Binh commune, Van Yen district at 9:15 am on April 29. The suspect was found hanging and dead.
The suspect's body was found on a hill in Trung Tam village, An Binh commune, Van Yen district, about 1km from the crime scene.

As reported, at 2:30 p.m. on April 28, due to a land dispute, Nguyen Van Mac (born in 1968), residing in Trung Tam village (former Cau Cao village), An Binh commune, Van Yen district, used a sword to kill Dang Xuan Xuyen (born in 1975) and Dang Thi Nhung (born in 1980), both residing in Trung Tam village, An Binh commune (the younger brother and younger sister of Dang Thi Xuan (born in 1973) - Nguyen Van Mac's ex-wife).
Immediately after the incident, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Van Yen district and the district's working group, along with functional forces of Yen Bai province, were present at the scene, grasped the situation and directed the implementation of professional measures.

Mr. Le Minh Duc, Vice Chairman of Van Yen District People's Committee, said: The authorities have blocked off the scene, conducted an autopsy, initially determined the cause of the incident, deployed professional measures to capture the perpetrator and completed forensic procedures to hand over the victim to the family for funeral arrangements according to custom.
The District People's Committee visited and encouraged the victim's family; carried out ideological work to avoid panic among the people and launched a movement to denounce crimes among the masses, coordinating with the functional agencies of Yen Bai province to continue investigating and resolving the case.
