According to Xinhua News Agency, at least 6 people were killed and 218 others were injured after a terrifying tornado occurred on the evening of May 14 in Wuhan city, Hubei province, central China.
With winds of 23.9 m/s, the tornado tore off roofs and damaged more than 130 houses, collapsed many construction site camps and 27 houses, and knocked down many trees.
In addition, two large crane towers and an 8,000m2 warehouse2Construction site was also damaged by the tornado.
Most of the injured were hit by falling trees, blown-off roofs, and falling advertising signs, and were taken to local medical facilities.
