Victim Vu Dai Quoc had many injuries. Through initial investigation, authorities initially determined that the explosion was caused by a homemade explosive.
At around 7:00 a.m. this morning, June 15, a large explosion occurred in the kitchen of Mr. Vu Quoc Quan's house, residing in Residential Group 2, Thac Ba town, Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province.
As a result, Mr. Vu Dai Quoc (born in 1999, son-in-law of Mr. Vu Quoc Quan), residing in Ham Rong village, Bach Ha commune, Yen Binh district, died on the kitchen floor. A large column of white smoke rose high, the entire roof of the kitchen and the roof of the warehouse next to the kitchen, covered with Fibro cement sheets, broke and fell to the floor. The kitchen windows were broken and deformed, some kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines... were broken and damaged, in the kitchen there were 3 intact gas cylinders.
The rest of the family, including Mr. Vu Quoc Quan's children and grandchildren, were playing in the yard and luckily no one was injured.
