Colonel Thong said that after watching the clip on social media and working with the Continuing Education Center of Do Luong district, the police identified the student who beat his friend as NTH (a former 12B student). H had just submitted a leave of absence request 2 weeks ago according to his family's wishes.

The beaten female student is LKO - currently a 10G student at the Continuing Education Center of Do Luong district.
