On the afternoon of March 17, in Hanoi, the Central Economic Committee held a conference to implement the Secretariat's decision on personnel organization.

At the conference, Mr. Ha Ban - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee announced Decision 1919-QDNS/TW dated March 16, 2020 of the Secretariat on the appointment of Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien - Director of the Department of Industry and Secretary of Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee.

On behalf of the Secretariat, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission presented the appointment decision to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien.

In his congratulatory and assignment speech, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh emphasized that Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien is an official appointed from local sources, achieving a very high rate of recommendation votes and votes of confidence through the steps of the appointment process.

The appointment of Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien as Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission by the Secretariat is a recognition and trust of the Secretariat, the Central Economic Commission, the Central Organization Commission and other agencies for the contributions of comrade Nguyen Duc Hien during his work.

Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh believes that in his new position, Deputy Head Nguyen Duc Hien will promote his capacity, qualities, and intelligence, strive to excellently complete assigned tasks, and together with the Central Economic Commission, successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat.

At the ceremony, the new Deputy Head of the Committee Nguyen Duc Hien thanked the attention and trust of the Secretariat and the Party's committees, the recognition and trust of the key staff of the Central Economic Committee; expressed his deep awareness that the task assigned by the Secretariat is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility, requiring him to always make outstanding efforts, constantly study, practice, overcome difficulties and challenges, be dedicated, devoted, responsible and wholeheartedly devoted to the common development of the Central Economic Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien was born on March 8, 1977; hometown: Dai Dong commune - Tu Ky district - Hai Duong province; is a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam; PhD in Economics; Senior Political Theory.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien has many years of teaching, research and management experience at the National Economics University (Deputy Director of the Center, Deputy Head of Science Management Department, Head of Personnel Organization Department, Deputy Director of the Institute of Banking and Finance); then transferred to the State Bank of Vietnam as Director of the Institute of Banking Strategy.

At the Central Economic Committee, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien held the positions of Department Head, Secretary of the Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Committee for many years (monitoring and advising on the fields of industry, locality, and personnel organization), then concurrently held the position of Director of the Department of Industry.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Hien has been a permanent member of the Editorial Board of many projects submitted to the Central Executive Committee and the Politburo to issue resolutions and conclusions in the economic field, participated in compiling many reference books and has many related scientific works./.
