Regarding the Ministry of Health's response to the information that the Minister's brother-in-law works at VN Pharma, National Assembly member Duong Trung Quoc said that the Ministry should have been transparent and public, without any need to explain anything, and the final conclusion belongs to the investigation agency.

The veteran National Assembly member said that when evaluating a person, regardless of their position in society, one must be very careful and not make assumptions.

In the VN Pharma case, public opinion is looking forward to a frank, transparent, and clear answer from the Minister of Health, but the Ministry's response these past few days is like "adding fuel to the fire"?

I will not go into the Ministry of Health's response. But in my opinion, when we see such a thing, we should be transparent and public, and the final conclusion belongs to the investigating agency.

No need to justify or defend anything, just let it be investigated and inspected, if there is any negativity then it will be handled according to the law.

As the head of an industry directly related to people's health, when answering the press about the management work of her industry in the VN Pharma case, Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said: VN Pharma is a small company, how can I manage it all, how can I know? How do you evaluate it?

I do not judge Ms. Tien personally. However, I see that many of our leaders lack the qualities of a politician to respond properly, and sometimes reveal statements that create unnecessary public opinion.

In this case, just say let the law handle and investigate. If the investigation turns out to be wrong, then handle it according to the law.

The General Secretary recently said that the higher the position, the greater the responsibility. In the past, sanctions were proportional to position. This means that for the same mistake, a person with a higher position would receive heavier sanctions.

It is time to put in place such a mechanism. Treat those in high positions well but also punish them harshly.

But with the recent response of the Ministry of Health, it seems like many other cases are "in accordance with regulations" and "in accordance with procedures". Is it possible that the current regulations have loopholes?

First, we must base on the law and existing regulations. Through practice, if we discover loopholes, we will improve them.

It is not by chance that in the past there was a law of avoidance. Because this phenomenon was so common, the king had to make that law to limit negativity and corruption and also as a way to protect his cadres and apparatus.

But most importantly, the mandarins of the past had self-respect. Nowadays, in our country, we rarely see self-respect and we often see people dealing with the law.

Laws are important, and it is also important to behave based on social ethics and self-respect.

People with self-respect avoid these things from the beginning. If they are talented, they can develop anywhere, not necessarily in positions close to the leadership position of relatives.

Each person equips himself with that knowledge to behave appropriately, avoid negativity and protect his own qualities and reputation. I think that is very important.

Meanwhile, many people rely on the law to explain their actions and say they meet standards, regulations and procedures.

Everyone knows that our country's relations are very complicated, especially with respect, self-interest, and factionalism. These are factors and catalysts that turn healthy relationships such as kinship into negative ones.

Through that phenomenon, you should try to avoid it, prevention is better than cure. By doing so, you can preserve your own dignity and that of your loved ones, and avoid being criticized.

I think it's best to just be transparent.

The Asylum Law prevents people in positions of power from abusing their positions to support, cover up or collude with relatives (family, clan, teacher-student, locality) to commit negative acts in the management of public agencies.
