Good at studying and good at working
(Baonghean) -Nguyen Thi Hoang, a student of class 12T6 - Do Luong 1 High School, is the new valedictorian of block A of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hue University) with a total score after rounding off of 28, following the valedictorians in Do Luong.
We went to Hoang's house right after hearing that he was the valedictorian of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hue University). Hoang's family is a farmer in Hamlet 3, Trang Son Commune, a difficult semi-mountainous area of the commune. With little land and a difficult life, to make a living, Hoang's parents went to the South to work for hire when he was in 9th grade. At home, Hoang and her sister take care of each other. During Tet holidays, while friends are having fun with their families, Hoang and her sister still have to be alone together. Despite the lack of care and attention from their parents, Hoang is always optimistic and tries to study well.
Life has many difficulties and worries, but it does not make Hoang discouraged. Hoang said that she is most afraid of rainy and windy days, the distance to school is 10 km away from home and through large fields, every time she crosses the bridge over the Dao River, the strong wind makes her feel like she is about to be thrown into the river. Overcoming all, for 3 consecutive years she has been an excellent student at Do Luong 1 High School.

With the scores of the subjects: Math: 10, Physics: 8.25, Chemistry: 9.5 points after rounding to 28 points, Hoang achieved the top score in block A of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Sharing the secret to getting high scores, Hoang confided: In class, I absorbed the teacher's lectures, studied the knowledge in the textbooks carefully and did some advanced exercises. Besides, I should not stay up late to study too hard, participate in class activities. Hoang confided that after stabilizing his studies, he will find a part-time job to pay for his studies and help his parents. No matter how difficult it is, he will decide to study to have a stable career in the future.
Talking to us, teacher Nguyen Tien Hang - Math teacher and homeroom teacher of class 12T6 kept praising the poor but studious and good-natured girl. Hoang's being the valedictorian did not surprise him much because he had seen her academic ability.
Saying goodbye to Hoang and leaving when the rain came, we suddenly remembered his feelings every time he went to school in the rain and wind, and admired even more his will and determination throughout the past school years.
