(Baonghean.vn) - Hung (residing in Yen Thanh district, Nghe An) drives his motorbike everywhere. When he sees a family without anyone at home to look after them, Hung sneaks into the house to steal phones to sell for personal expenses.

On August 5, Yen Thanh District Police said they were consolidating the case file to prosecute the case and prosecute Le Van Hung (born in 1991), residing in Phan Dinh Phung hamlet, Hoa Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) for the crime of "Theft of property"; and prosecute Nguyen Cong Thanh for the crime of "Receiving property stolen by others".

Yen Thanh District Police received many reports from local residents about the theft of mobile phones while they were at home, causing many people to be upset and worried. Through screening and screening of suspects, the Yen Thanh District Police Investigation Agency found that Le Van Hung (born in 1991), residing in Phan Dinh Phung hamlet, Hoa Thanh commune, had many unclear signs about time and money.

Le Van Hung is a subject who has just completed his prison term (for property theft) and returned to his hometown. He is also a drug addict and unemployed. However, recently Hung has been spending a lot of money and buying drugs for use. Through collecting information and using many different methods, Yen Thanh District Police determined that Le Van Hung is a suspect related to property theft cases that have occurred in the area recently.

After collecting all the documents, on July 29, 2020, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Thanh District Police summoned Le Van Hung to work. At the investigation agency, in front of the evidence and authentic documents, Le Van Hung honestly confessed his crime.

A typical case of property theft occurred at around 9:30 a.m. on July 5, 2020 at the home of Ms. Phan Thi L. (born in 1983), Vinh Hoa hamlet, Hop Thanh commune. According to Ms. Lan's statement, her Iphone7 Plus phone was left at the head of the bed when it was stolen, behind the phone case was 1.2 million VND. The subject who caused this theft was Le Van Hung, after the theft Hung spent the cash, but before he could sell the phone, the police arrested and seized the evidence.

Then, on July 17, 2020, Le Van Hung stole a Samsung Galaxy A20 phone, the property of Ms. Dao Thi Thanh T. (born in 2003), residing in Hamlet 6, Tang Thanh Commune. Not stopping there, on July 19, 2020, Le Van Hung stole a Oppo A1K mobile phone, the person who lost the property was Mr. Phan Doan K. (born in 1978), residing in Block 4, Yen Thanh Town. On July 28, 2020, Le Van Hung stole a Samsung A50 phone, the property of Ms. Hoang Thi Ha, residing in Phan Dang Luu Hamlet, Hoa Thanh Commune.

According to Le Van Hung's statement, he had just been released from prison and had no stable job. Every day, Hung rode his motorbike everywhere. When he saw a family without anyone at home to look after them, Hung sneaked into the house to steal phones and sell them for personal expenses.

Through the fight with the subject, Yen Thanh District Police clarified that from May 18, 2020 to July 28, 2020, Le Van Hung successfully carried out 10 cases of cell phone theft. After stealing the property, he sold it to Nguyen Cong Thanh, owner of the "Thanh Na" phone store in Hop Thanh commune, at different prices, depending on the remaining value of the phone. However, in general, Hung sold the phones at prices many times cheaper than the actual value of the phone.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Thanh District Police has seized 05 mobile phones, 01 Wawe Alpha motorbike with license plate 37P1-557.13 and some exhibits related to the case.
