Thinking the girl was just unconscious, her family took her to the hospital, but the doctors said she could not be saved.

According toThe Sun, Uma Oram (18 years old) in Kheriakani village, Odisha state, India died at home after her phone exploded while she was talking to a relative.
Uma's brother said that right after lunch, Uma wanted to make a phone call but discovered that her phone was out of battery. She plugged it in to charge while making a call. After a while, the phone exploded.
Realizing that Uma had injuries on her arms, chest, legs and was unconscious, her family rushed her to the hospital but doctors declared Uma dead.

According to photos taken at the scene of the accident, the phone Uma was using was a Nokia. The cause of the explosion is currently unknown. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
