A serious traffic accident occurred at noon on March 11 at Km 888+500 on National Highway 1A passing through Lang Co town, Phu Loc district.

Initial information said that at that time, Mr. Ho Ngoc Thanh Son (30 years old, residing in Phu Hiep ward, Hue city) was driving a truck with license plate 75C - 054.32 from Hue to Da Nang and stopped the vehicle on the side of the road.
When Mr. Son had just stepped out of the cabin onto the road, he was suddenly hit from behind by a passenger bus with license plate 75B - 010.30, driven by Phan Van Thinh (35 years old, residing in Phong An commune, Phong Dien, TT-Hue), traveling in the same direction.
The strong hit from behind caused Mr. Son to fall to the road and die on the spot.
The passenger car continued to collide with a tanker truck with license plate 75C-036.02 traveling in the same direction in front of it before stopping. This collision caused minor damage to both cars.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
