According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, head of the "Lighting Up Hope" Club, Muong Long commune is located in a high mountainous area of Nghe An province. Temperatures frequently drop, sometimes below 1ºC. The lives of the local people are still difficult, and many students do not have enough warm clothes to wear.
Therefore, the club called on everyone to join hands in supporting the "Warm Winter in the Highlands 2017" program, hoping to help students in Muong Long have a warmer winter and alleviate some of the difficulties faced by the local people.
The program has been underway for several months.
