(Baonghean.vn) - At examination cluster number 25 – Vinh University this year, two candidates with broken legs still overcame difficulties to take the exam....
CBoth of these candidates were involved in traffic accidents in May 2015 and both are from Ha Tinh province.Hobbling on wooden crutches to register for the exam, these two candidates received dedicated assistance from volunteers participating in the exam support program.
Upon arriving at examination room 016 at Vinh University, Nguyen Anh Tuan (Hong Lam hamlet, Phu Loc commune, Can Loc district) appeared to be struggling with one leg in a cast, having to use wooden crutches. Tuan quickly received assistance from volunteer youth who helped him to the examination room.
It is known that Tuan comes from a very difficult family background; his family are farmers with many children, and his father is ill year-round. This time, he was accompanied by his mother, Ms. Ngo Thi Tam, to Vinh City to take the exam. Tuan shared: "My leg pain makes studying very difficult, but the more pain I feel, the harder I have to study. This time, I am determined to do well on the exam, get into university, and help my parents escape poverty in the future."

Knowing about Nguyen Anh Tuan's difficulties, the volunteers here wholeheartedly helped him and his mother with transportation, finding free accommodation, and providing free meals during the exam days.
Similarly, candidate Phan Thi Tam (a student from Mai Thuc Loan High School, Loc Ha district, Ha Tinh province) also arrived at the registration office using wooden crutches. From early morning on June 30th, Tam was driven over 50 km by her brother on a motorbike to Vinh city to make it in time for the exam.

Upon arriving at the exam site, Tam was immediately assisted by the volunteer staff, which made her very happy. Tam said: “Having an accident right before the exam made me pessimistic and discouraged, thinking I wouldn’t be able to take it. Luckily, my family and friends encouraged me, so I felt reassured and reviewed my studies at home. Being here and receiving help from the volunteers makes me very happy and gives me more confidence to do well on the exam.”
Besides the two candidates Tuan and Tam, at the Nghi Phu 2 Secondary School examination center (Vinh City), there was also a male candidate with a broken leg who came to register for the exam.
