Overcoming U11 T&T VSH, U11 Song Lam Nghe An entered the semi-finals
(Baonghean.vn) - Defeating U11 T&T VSH with a score of 3-1, U11 Song Lam Nghe An officially entered the Semi-finals of the 2023 National Children's Football Tournament. The match took place at Dak Lak Provincial Gymnasium at 4:00 p.m. on August 1.
Before reaching the Quarterfinals, U11 Song Lam Nghe An led by coach Nguyen Hong Viet had excellently won all matches in Group C, scoring 17 goals, conceding 2 goals and ranked first in the group. Meanwhile, U11 T&T VSH finished the group stage in 2nd place, with 4 points.

Therefore, when entering the match between U11 Song Lam Nghe An and U11 T&T VSH, experts all said that this would be a fairly easy match for coach Nguyen Hong Viet and his team. However, in reality, the match was very exciting, U11 Song Lam Nghe An had strikers with better technical qualities, quickly took control of the match and scored the opening goal in the 4th minute thanks to Minh Duc.
However, just 3 minutes later, from a lightning counterattack, Nam Cuong helped U11 T&T VSH equalize the match score. From this time on, the two teams played tit for tat, with the tempo being pushed up very high and many opportunities were created towards each other's goal. In the first half, U11 Song Lam Nghe An, although playing with determination, did not get what they needed due to the fierce pressure from the opponent.
It was not until the 39th minute of the match, from a corner kick on the right wing, that Minh Duc was able to help the Nghe An team regain the lead. With nothing left to lose, U11 T&T VSH pushed up their formation to find an equalizer, but not long after that they conceded another goal and had to accept saying goodbye to the tournament after the quarter-finals.
The third goal of U11 Song Lam Nghe An was scored by Ngoc Quan in the extra seconds of the match.
With this victory, U11 Song Lam Nghe An has entered its name in the Semi-finals of the 2023 National Children's Football Tournament. The semi-final match will take place on August 3 at Dak Lak Provincial Gymnasium.
