WikiLeaks releases US documents inciting division in Ukraine.
According to the Voice of Russia on the night of May 13th, WikiLeaks has released new revelations claiming that more than five years ago, experts warned that US policy in Ukraine had the potential to incite violence and divide the country.
Citing documents that appeared on WikiLeaks' Twitter account, Russia-24 reported that US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns mentioned this in a classified report dated February 1, 2008.

The document mentions the possibility of NATO's eastward expansion, as well as Ukraine and Georgia joining NATO. The report notes that this policy would significantly complicate Russia-Ukraine relations.
Furthermore, WikiLeaks also quoted a 2008 statement by Sergei Lavrov, in which the Russian Foreign Minister warned that new NATO members were using their membership to glorify fascism and attempt to rewrite history.
