WikiLeaks Will Reveal Big Secrets in 2017

The secrets revealed in 2017 will be much more spectacular than 2016, said the WikiLeaks boss.

"If you thought 2016 was a great year for WikiLeaks, 2017 will be your downfall," the WikiLeaks boss declared on Twitter on January 2, without revealing what he would publish.

The statement included a link to a fundraising page for WikiLeaks' website so people can help the site "prepare for the final battle".

2016 has been a busy year for WikiLeaks, with the site releasing a huge amount of documents over the past 12 months.

Among the documents revealed were more than 50,000 emails from John Podesta, Hillary Clinton's campaign manager, and more than 27,000 emails from the Democratic National Committee, confirming that the committee supported Hillary, leaving aside Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.

The election-related emails have sent shockwaves through the Democratic Party and dealt a blow to Hillary's campaign ahead of the presidential election.

In 2016, WikiLeaks also revealed many US State Department cables, including documents mentioning internal information about the US arming Yemen, RT reported.
