WinMart joins the commitment to responsible business for consumers
(Baonghean.vn) - WinCommerce (the owner of the WinMart/WinMart+ retail chain) is one of 7 manufacturing and retail units participating in the "Launching Ceremony in Response to Vietnam Consumer Rights Day" organized by the People's Committee of Nghe An province on March 10.
At the event, WinCommerce and large enterprises joined hands to sign a commitment to promote propaganda with the goal of raising awareness as well as sharing the work of protecting consumer rights.

WinMart/WinMart+ is the largest domestic retail chain today, with more than 3,400 supermarkets and stores nationwide. In order to enhance the brand value of Vietnamese goods, this unit is directly linking with thousands of cooperatives, farming households, and local agricultural product suppliers, helping them standardize production by transferring quality management processes, product preservation processes, supporting investment in logistics systems in key farming areas, and guaranteeing product output. From there, building a continuous distribution channel from production to retail.
WinMart/WinMart+ also implements many solutions to improve the effectiveness of consumer rights protection in business activities, focusing on developing and implementing specific solutions to enforce legal regulations on consumer rights protection, enhancing the effectiveness of resolving consumer complaints and recommendations as well as effectively implementing customer care and gratitude activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tuan - Director of Operations of WinMart supermarket system said that Nghe An is a strategic market of WinCommerce with 4 WinMart supermarkets and 76 WinMart+ stores operating effectively and growing well. In the plan to open new stores nationwide in the period of 2023 - 2025, WinCommerce will continue to focus on this locality.
We will accompany local manufacturers and suppliers to support the improvement of production and post-harvest capacity to increase the value of goods and ensure product quality. To do this well, WinCommerce needs close cooperation from local authorities, departments, branches and sectors in creating a "Manager - Manufacturer - Retailer" link to better implement consumer rights.
The program to respond to Vietnam Consumer Day in Nghe An took place on March 10 and 11. Here, the booth displaying WinMart/WinMart+'s main products attracted the attention of many visitors. Consumers can easily find branded products such as WinEco clean agricultural products, MEATDeli chilled meat and other essential goods at better prices than products in the same segment.

Previously, on March 9, WinCommerce and businesses such as Uniqlo Co., Ltd., Shopee Co., Ltd., LAZADA Vietnam Co.,... participated in the launching ceremony of "Responding to the implementation of the contents and instructions given in the Code of Guidelines for Responsible Business for Consumers in E-commerce".
The above practical activities have affirmed the special concern of retail businesses in general and WinCommerce in particular for consumer rights, striving to bring customers an increasingly better shopping experience.
