Dang Son Commune (Do Luong) receives Certificate of recognition for meeting New Rural standards

Attending the celebration with the commune were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, leaders of Do Luong district and many local people.

Dang Son is a purely agricultural commune, located along the Lam River, geographically located near the center of Do Luong district, with a convenient transportation system, people who are industrious in production, sensitive to the market... On that basis, with the attention of Party committees at all levels, authorities and functional branches; the consensus, support and solidarity within the Party Committee and the people, along with the clear awareness that the work of building a new rural area is an important political task, after more than 5 years, Dang Son commune has mobilized over 200 billion VND, of which people contributed 120 billion VND to invest in items, completing the goal of reaching the new rural area with all 19/19 criteria.

In addition to the criteria for building roads, schools, health care..., the criteria for increasing people's income is also given attention. Up to now, in addition to agricultural production, the commune has also focused on grocery and transportation agencies; developing rice paper production, carpentry, welding and other services, contributing to raising the average income of people to 30.5 million VND/year; poor households have decreased to 2.59%; workers have regular jobs 3,212/3,514 people, accounting for 91.40%.

Speaking at the ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of meeting the new rural standards of Dang Son commune, comrade Dinh Viet Hong congratulated the Party Committee and people of Dang Son commune; at the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the commune would continue to strive to improve the quality of the criteria, have a plan to transform the economic structure, and improve people's lives.

At the ceremony, comrade Dinh Viet Hong awarded the Certificate of Recognition of meeting the New Rural Standards in 2017 and the 500 million VND prize from the Provincial People's Committee to Dang Son commune; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of joining hands to build the New Rural Area.
