Dien Hoa commune receives certificate recognizing it as a New Rural Area standard commune.

(Baonghean.vn) - Morning of the 15th/On the 11th, the Party Committee, the People's Committee, and the people of Dien Hoa commune (Dien Chau district) held a ceremony to receive the Certificate recognizing the commune as having achieved the New Rural Area standard.

To achieve the New Rural Area (NRA) goal, the average household in Dien Hoa commune contributed between 300,000 and 370,000 VND. The entire commune donated 9.6 hectares of land, valued at 14.4 billion VND, and contributed tens of thousands of man-days of labor. After four years of NRA construction, Dien Hoa commune has seen many positive changes. The commune now has 43 tillage machines, nearly 30 rice threshing machines, 13 milling and animal feed processing machines, 107 small-scale businesses, and 11 transport vehicles…

Currently, 222 people from the commune are working abroad, sending back 46-47 billion VND annually. The number of poor households in the commune decreased from 8.77% in 2013 to 3.25% in 2015. The average per capita income in 2015 reached 27 million VND.

The commune prioritizes investment in education and the care of the younger generation. Schools have been modernized, and all three levels of education meet national standards. The health station meets national standards at level 2. Each year, 120-130 students are admitted to universities, colleges, and vocational schools. The commune's Party Committee and government consistently achieve the "Exemplary, Clean, and Strong" status.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Lam - Deputy Head of the Office - Standing Committee of the Provincial New Rural Development Coordination Office, presented the Certificate of Recognition for achieving New Rural Development standards to Dien Hoa commune and awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals who achieved outstanding results in the New Rural Development movement.

Representatives from the district leadership presented certificates of commendation to 4 collectives and 4 individuals.

On this occasion, four collectives and four individuals from Dien Hoa commune were awarded Certificates of Commendation by the Provincial People's Committee. The Dien Chau District People's Committee also presented certificates of merit to individuals and collectives in the commune who had achieved outstanding results in the New Rural Development movement.
