What's wrong with society, why are people like this?

This question was in my mind last year, the year before, and today it is much stronger.

From school stories...

At the end of 2016, the whole society was abuzz with the incident at Nam Trung Yen Primary School in Hanoi. A taxi carrying the school principal into the school yard caused an accident for a student. The normal thinking is to admit the mistake and take responsibility, but no.

First of all, deny it and then think about it. Then recently, the teacher punished her student by forcing him to drink water used to clean the blackboard. Let's not talk about teaching skills and expertise, first of all, she is also a human being. Where is the humanity and morality when she acts like that?

Many people think like me, if that teacher had a child or grandchild with a disability and was forced to drink such a drink, what would she think and how would she react? Then the teacher did not speak to the students in class for 3 months.

A record not only for us, but perhaps for the whole world. And the student was also strange, for 3 months like that no one said anything. When a student spoke up, it seemed like he was isolated, because it affected the school's performance when the higher authorities considered it.

Unintelligible. Then the teacher punished the student by forcing him to kneel, then the student's father came and forced the teacher to kneel. The student beat the teacher, stabbed him in the stomach in revenge. The parent went into the school to assault the teacher... That's what happened at school.

...Hospital Stories

There are also many incidents in the hospital. Patients and their families beat medical staff. Teachers and doctors have long been the most respected people in our country. Without a teacher, you cannot succeed. A good doctor is like a loving mother.

Nowadays, that concept seems to be shaken considerably. Many social values, many social ethical standards are reversed. If a teacher is really a teacher, a doctor is really a doctor, what will happen?

Teachers and doctors nowadays seem to be no longer as intact as before. Students are increasingly overstepping the line between students and teachers. And especially the people, it is very easy to be discontented, very easy to act rashly when not satisfied.

To the police general and the professorship?

Then there was the story of several police generals being arrested for investigation. The government agency that was created to fight gambling was personally organizing gambling. And it was a whole system.

Not to mention serious violations of the law, here the reversal of social values and ethical standards is even more intense.

Basically, in the eyes of the people, the police force must be exemplary. Exemplary in protecting the law and protecting the people.

Sometimes, there are flaws and blemishes, but they can still be forgiven and accepted. But to this extent, it is too serious. The question remains, why is that?

Then there is the matter of conferring titles as professors. A national council has been doing this for years, through many levels of review, and this year it was officially brought up. And when it was brought up, we can see many mistakes and absurdities. Let’s not discuss the responsibilities of the relevant state agencies, but look at the people involved in conferring titles. Many are worthy. There are a few who are also worthy but somehow are still rejected. And there are those who try every way to get in, even if they do not meet the standards.

I secretly think, I am not worthy of being a professor or doctor, but I have tried every way to achieve it and then show it off everywhere, so the minimum integrity I should have has disappeared. I don't need to have high morals, as long as I am a professor, it's ok.

Human morality is in trouble

Then the story... We know that humans are not "saints", and cannot avoid being contaminated by worldly dust, but the contamination to such an extent is truly worrying. Human morality is having problems, seriously deteriorating.

Morality cannot be imposed or penetrated into people's hearts through grandiose slogans. Morality must be carefully built in each family, then from family to school, and then to society.

This process is both natural and not entirely natural in the sense that everyone must comply with the common things of society, what is considered standard and proper by society. Social morality is the measure of human value, without exception, for the most ordinary people to those with the highest responsibilities in society.

With what is happening in our society, it is good to let it reveal all the defects, all the so-called negative things related to the moral category to see where we are, maybe we can find a suitable solution. If we do not realize this, we are helpless.
