Hung Dao commune receives the title of achieving national standards in healthcare.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 27th, Hung Dao commune, Hung Nguyen district, held a ceremony to receive the title of National Commune for Healthcare, for the period 2011-2020.

District Party Secretary Hoang Van Phi presents the certificate recognizing Hung Dao commune as having met national standards for healthcare.

Hung Dao commune achieved national health standards according to the old criteria in 2010. When implementing the new national health standards, Hung Dao commune focused on investing in additional infrastructure, purchasing medical equipment; caring for the health of the people, doing a good job of hygiene and disease prevention, collecting waste, and ensuring a clean living environment for the people. The commune also effectively implemented the socialization of grassroots healthcare, ensuring compliance with the criteria for a commune to achieve national health standards set by the Ministry of Health by 2020.

To date, significant results have been achieved in the examination, treatment, and primary healthcare of the people. The commune has basically met the 10 new criteria set by the Ministry of Health and has been recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a National Standard Commune for healthcare according to the new criteria in 2013.

Receiving the title of National Standard Commune for Health in the period 2011-2020 will serve as a foundation, premise, and driving force for the locality to better perform its duties in caring for and protecting the health of its people, contributing to the socio-economic development of the commune.
