The "Beautiful New Rural Commune 2018" contest in Vinh City has 9 communes participating in the contest, with 3 parts: Scoring at the grassroots level; video clip about building new rural areas of the locality and presentation.

At the contest this morning, the communes showed video clips introducing the locality, achievements in the process of building new rural areas, and existing limitations that need to be overcome in the coming years to strive to become a model new rural commune.

The final result after 3 rounds of competition, Nghi Lien commune won the first prize of the 2018 Beautiful New Rural Commune contest; the second prize belonged to Hung Dong commune; the third prize belonged to Nghi Kim commune.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded additional prizes such as: Nghi Duc commune won the prize for arranging and arranging residents according to the planning; Hung Chinh commune won the prize for synchronous infrastructure and culture; Nghi Lien commune won the prize for clean and beautiful traffic roads and flower roads; Nghi An commune won the prize for effective production model.

With this result, Nghi Lien commune will represent Vinh city to participate in the provincial-level beautiful new rural commune contest held in the near future.
