Shooting at a bar in South Carolina, 4 people died
US officials said on October 12 that a shooting occurred at "Willie's Bar and Grill" on Saint Helena Island (St. Helena) in South Carolina, killing four people and injuring at least 20 others.
The incident occurred on the morning of October 12 local time. When police arrived at the scene, they found four dead and at least 20 injured, four of whom were in critical condition.
Witnesses at the bar said that as soon as the incident happened, they had to flee to neighboring businesses for shelter.
South Carolina state officials expressed deep concern over the incident and sent condolences to the victims and their families.
Investigation is underway.
