Thanh Duong Commune receives Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards

(Baonghean.vn) -On January 23 and 24, the People's Committee of Thanh Duong commune (Thanh Chuong) held a ceremony to receive the Provincial Historical Relic Certificate for Ca Temple and the Certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the New Rural Standards.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Thanh Duong commune has a natural area of ​​865.36 hectares, 1,417 households, and 6,500 people. Implementing the movement "All people join hands to build new rural areas", the commune has mobilized 87 billion VND, of which people contributed over 47 billion VND, completing the land consolidation work, implementing "villages adjacent to fields, houses on one plot".

The whole commune has 9 models of farms, livestock farms combined with crop cultivation, promoting high efficiency, 38 multi-function plows, 16 transport vehicles, 21 milling machines, animal feed processing machines...

Awarding certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 4 outstanding individuals.

Currently, the commune has more than 60 workers working abroad. Thanks to the right economic restructuring, the average income per capita has been constantly increasing (in 2015 it reached 27.5 million VND/person), the poverty rate has decreased to only 4.2%, the rate of well-off and rich households has been increasing.

Social culture has many improvements, 13/13 hamlets have spacious cultural houses, the rate of cultural families annually reaches 86%, there are 9 villages, 4 units achieving cultural villages, cultural units, 3 schools and commune health stations all meeting national standards. Security, political situation, social order and safety are guaranteed.

Up to now, the commune has achieved 19/19 targets on building new rural areas and was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune meeting new rural standards in 2015.

At the ceremony on the morning of January 24, comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of recognition of the commune meeting the NTM standards and a bonus of 500 million VND to Thanh Duong commune.

On this occasion, 4 collectives and 4 outstanding individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee, 4 collectives and 5 outstanding individuals in the new rural construction movement were awarded certificates of merit by the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee.

Previously, on the afternoon of January 23, a representative of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the Certificate of Provincial Historical Relic recognition to Ca Temple, Thanh Duong Commune.
