Van Tu commune connected with and mobilized over 145 million VND to donate gifts to schools and students in difficult circumstances.
On September 9-10, 2025, Thien Tam Red Cross Society - Ho Chi Minh City, in coordination with Van Tu, Quan Thanh, Van Du and Hop Minh communes (Nghe An province), donated supplies, equipment and gifts to schools and students in the area.
Attending the program were: Comrade Hoang Danh Truyen - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Van Tu commune; Pham Xuan Thach - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Nguyen Dang Hoang - Chairman of Thien Tam Red Cross Society - Ho Chi Minh City, along with representatives of benefactors who came to present gifts.

Accordingly, 7 semi-industrial water purifiers, 15 bicycles, 34 gift packages for disadvantaged students, along with 990 nutritious meals, were distributed to students and schools including: Trung Thanh Primary & Secondary School (Quan Thanh commune); Khanh Thanh Kindergarten; Khanh Thanh Primary & Secondary School; My Thanh Kindergarten Cluster No. 2; Ly Thanh Kindergarten; Ly Thanh Primary School (Van Tu commune); Thinh Thanh Primary School (Van Du commune); and Vien Thanh Kindergarten (Hop Minh commune), with a total value of over 145 million VND.

These are schools and students who face many difficulties, but have strived to excel in their studies.
These meaningful gifts will contribute to ensuring clean water for schools and encourage students to continue their education.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited the 30-31 Martyrs' Memorial - where the French colonialists executed 72 communist fighters in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement at Trang Ke, Van Tu commune; and conducted a survey of several locations for the installation of industrial water filtration systems in some localities.
