Van Tu Commune connected and mobilized more than 145 million VND to give gifts to schools and students in difficult circumstances.
On September 9-10, 2025, Thien Tam Red Cross - Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Van Tu, Quan Thanh, Van Du and Hop Minh communes (Nghe An) to present supplies, equipment and gifts to schools and students in the area.
Attending the program were comrades: Hoang Danh Truyen - Party Secretary, Chairman of Van Tu Commune People's Council; Pham Xuan Thach - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Nguyen Dang Hoang - Chairman of Thien Tam Red Cross Society - Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of donors who came to give gifts.

Accordingly, 07 semi-industrial water purifiers, 15 bicycles, 34 gifts for students in difficult circumstances along with 990 nutritious meals were given to students and schools including: Trung Thanh Primary & Secondary School (Quan Thanh commune); Khanh Thanh Kindergarten; Khanh Thanh Primary & Secondary School; My Thanh Kindergarten cluster 2; Ly Thanh Kindergarten; Ly Thanh Primary School (Van Tu commune); Thinh Thanh Primary School (Van Du commune); Vien Thanh Kindergarten (Hop Minh commune), with a total value of over 145 million VND.

These are schools and students who still face many difficulties, but have tried hard to excel in their studies.
These meaningful gifts will help ensure clean water for schools, encourage and motivate students to continue going to school.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited the 30-31 Martyrs Memorial - where the French colonialists executed 72 communist soldiers in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement in Trang Ke, Van Tu commune; and conducted a survey of some industrial water filtration system installation sites in some localities./.
