On July 31 and August 1, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Van Tu commune coordinated with the Son Hoang volunteer group and benefactors in Ho Chi Minh City, along with the Nghe An Red Cross Society to organize the awarding of 181 support packages to people who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 3 (Wipha) in Tuong Duong, Luong Minh, and My Ly communes (Nghe An province).
Nghe An: Protecting the construction of the National Highway 7A Renovation and Upgrading Project at 2 locations in Van Tu and Hop Minh communes

To hand over the site to the construction unit, the functional forces of Van Tu and Hop Minh communes (belonging to the old Yen Thanh district) simultaneously protected the construction at 2 locations of the National Highway 7A Renovation and Upgrade Project.

Van Tu commune worked overnight to reinforce Sa Tran drainage culvert to protect more than 10,000 households from storm No. 3.

Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3, on the night of July 20, the Van Tu commune government urgently deployed forces to reinforce the Sa Tran drainage culvert - an important irrigation project that is seriously degrading.
