Nghe An: Protecting the construction of the National Highway 7A Renovation and Upgrading Project at 2 locations in Van Tu and Hop Minh communes
To hand over the site to the construction unit, the functional forces of Van Tu and Hop Minh communes (belonging to the old Yen Thanh district) simultaneously protected the construction at 2 locations of the National Highway 7A Renovation and Upgrade Project.
Today (July 31), the Construction Protection Board of the National Highway 7A Renovation and Upgrade Project of Hop Minh and Van Tu communes coordinated with functional forces to organize construction protection at 2 locations on National Highway 7A.

Specifically, in Hop Minh commune, the authorities have divided the lanes and regulated traffic to allow the construction unit to construct a 65m section of the route (on the left side of the route). This area belongs to Bao Thanh commune (old), and is blocked by 2 households. Previously, the local government had repeatedly communicated and mobilized, but the households only agreed to build drainage ditches, but did not allow construction of the road surface.

In Van Tu commune, the construction protection area is located on the right side of the route, 16.5m long, affecting 1 plot of land. This area is near Cao bridge, in Cong Thanh commune (old). Because the people at this location have not yet moved the architectural objects (corrugated iron roof, fence, trees), the Construction Protection Board had to dismantle them to give the contractor a construction site.

According to leaders of Hop Minh and Van Tu communes, local authorities and functional forces will protect the above construction area until the road surface is completed.

The project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 7A, section Km0 - Km36, and handle landslides in the Khe Thoi - Nam Can section, Nghe An province is a national key project, of great significance in connecting the western region of Nghe An with National Highway 1A and the North - South Expressway. Although this project started in September 2022, it is expected to be completed and put into use in 2024. However, due to problems in site clearance, the construction progress has been delayed.

It is known that in addition to the 2 locations that were just protected for construction today, July 31, there are 3 areas along the entire route that are stuck in the land clearance work and also need drastic solutions to hand over to the construction unit. In which, the most concentrated are in Van Tu commune (the old My Thanh commune area), Hop Minh commune (the old Vien Thanh commune area), and Minh Chau commune (the area of the old Dien Cat commune).
