Traffic management units are actively handling 15 landslides on National Highway 7 due to the impact of recent floods in Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, and Ky Son districts and straightening some curves to ensure traffic safety.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - Deputy Director of Road Management Area II said: Due to the impact of recent floods, many serious landslides occurred on National Highway 7 passing through the districts of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, and Ky Son. Since the beginning of October 2024, with a capital of over 30 billion VND from the Vietnam Road Administration, Road Management Area II has deployed the handling of 15 landslides, including the handling and expansion of 2 hairpin bends in Ky Son district. Up to now, over 80% of the work has been completed, ensuring safety for people and vehicles.
