(Baonghean)On the morning of January 10th, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to implement the plan for Decision No. 30 on criteria for identifying particularly disadvantaged villages and communes in mountainous ethnic minority areas for the period 2012-2015. The conference was attended by relevant departments and agencies, as well as leaders of mountainous districts and communes located in mountainous areas. Mr. Le Xuan Dai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the conference.
The purpose of Decision 30 is to identify a list of villages and hamlets classified as particularly disadvantaged, and communes in mountainous ethnic minority areas, for submission to the Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs for approval. This list will serve as a basis for determining appropriate socio-economic development investment policies for the region.
Comrade Le Xuan Dai requested that relevant departments and localities promptly send personnel to the grassroots level to inspect and review the implementation to determine the correct target groups; and organize training according to proper procedures. Any difficulties encountered during the implementation of Decision No. 30 should be proposed to the Provincial People's Committee for timely resolution, ensuring that the plan is followed as scheduled.
