Regarding the case of a young man's body discovered in a ditch in Do Luong, the police searched for the owner of the motorbike with license plate 38K1-393.54. The police discovered that the owner was registered in Ha Tinh province and had sold the motorbike to Thanh Chuong district.
Later, the authorities identified the victim as Phan Ba Sam (born in 1985, residing in Hamlet 9, Thanh Lien Commune, Thanh Chuong District).

On the evening of May 30, the victim's family was present at the scene, signed a commitment not to request the authorities to perform an autopsy and investigate the cause of Phan Ba Sam's death. The family received the victim's body for burial at home according to local customs.
Previously, at around 3:30 p.m. on May 30, at Yen Trung and Yen Thinh fields (Yen Son commune, Do Luong district), people working in the fields discovered the body of a young man in a ditch.
At the scene, the body was half submerged in the ditch, the left wrist was resting on the left handle of the motorbike with license plate 38K1-393.54, a half-burned cigarette was still in the hand. About 100 meters from the body, there was a syringe lying on the grass bank.
