Identify key content in propaganda work in November 2021

On the morning of November 17, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held the Provincial Party Committee's Reporters Conference for November 2021 online, connecting with the Central Propaganda Department. At the conference, the leaders of the National Border Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed about the topics: "Achievements in the work of demarcating and planting border markers on land between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Cambodia"; "Vietnam - Cambodia relations in recent times".

Accordingly, Vietnam and Cambodia share a land border of about 1,255 km long, passing through 10 provinces of Vietnam and 9 provinces of Cambodia. This border has a long history of formation, having undergone many changes associated with the history of peaceful coexistence and development of the two peoples.

The event on December 22, 2020 marked an important milestone when Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia Prak Sokhom co-chaired the online ceremony of exchanging documents of ratification of two legal documents. The two legal documents recording the achievements of land border demarcation and marker planting between Vietnam and Cambodia signed on October 5, 2019 officially took effect from December 22, 2020.

With this result, Vietnam and Cambodia basically have a clear border in the field, marked by a system of regular and modern landmarks. This contributes to creating a peaceful and friendly border, creating momentum for socio-economic development, ensuring border security and sovereignty and the prosperity of the people of the two countries.

At the conference, delegates also listened to the topic: "Ensuring social security in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic" presented by the representative of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. In which, the Government's Resolution No. 116/NQ-CP on support policies for employees and employers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund is of great interest to many people.

Orienting propaganda work in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy requested the team of reporters and propagandists to closely follow the content of the topics reported in the conference to widely spread to all classes of people.
