At around 5:00 p.m. on June 27, in the Pha Lai forest area, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department working group coordinated with Traffic Control Patrol Team 1-48, Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police to arrest Xong Ba Dia (born in 1983), residing in Muong Long village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district, who was illegally buying and selling drugs.

The seized evidence included 02 heroin cakes, 1000 synthetic drug pills, 01 mobile phone and 01 utility knife. During the arrest, due to the steep terrain, darkness, slippery road and fierce resistance of the subject, some soldiers were slightly injured.

At the police station, Xong Ba Dia confessed that at about 12 o'clock on June 26, 2017, he crossed the border of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to buy the above drugs with the purpose of making illegal profits.
