Gasoline prices officially increase
Each liter of RON 95 gasoline increased by 190 VND, E5 RON 92 price remained unchanged while oil products (except mazut) all decreased from 3:00 p.m. today (August 27).
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced this afternoon (August 27) that each liter of RON 95 gasoline will be more expensive by VND192, up to a maximum of VND15,114 per liter. Meanwhile, E5 RON 92 gasoline will remain at a maximum price of VND14,409 per liter.
Oil prices have all decreased, with diesel down 240 VND and kerosene down 82 VND per liter. Madut oil also remains at its highest price of 11,183 VND per kilogram, as it was 15 days ago.
Along with adjusting the selling price, the operator uses the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund tool. The deductions from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum and oil have all decreased by 100 VND compared to 15 days ago. For example, the deduction from the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5 RON 92 gasoline is 0 VND; RON 95 is 100 VND per liter, kerosene is 200 VND per liter...
Meanwhile, the expenditure from the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil both increased compared to the management period on August 12. E5 RON 92 gasoline spent 1,295 VND on the fund, an increase of 363 VND; RON 95 was 670 VND, and mazut was 453 VND per kilogram. Only kerosene stopped spending on the fund.
After the operator announced the retail price adjustment, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) said that the estimated balance of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund at the group before 3:00 p.m. on August 27 was VND4,370 billion.
