Gasoline price reduction from 3pm

Each liter of mineral gasoline decreased by another 862 VND per liter, to a maximum of 16,504 VND from this afternoon.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance have sent a dispatch on gasoline price management to key enterprises. Accordingly, from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (June 20), the retail price of each liter of RON 92 gasoline will decrease by another VND862 per liter, to a maximum of VND16,504 per liter.

The price of E5 gasoline also decreased by 806 VND per liter, to a maximum of 16,349 VND per liter. Along with that, the price of oil products also decreased by 369 - 738 VND per liter, kg depending on the type. After the price adjustment, diesel oil is no higher than 12,835 VND per liter (down 650 VND per liter), kerosene is 11,380 VND per liter, equivalent to a decrease of 738 VND per liter compared to 15 days ago.

While reducing retail prices, the operator decided to keep the current level of deduction and use of the Price Stabilization Fund (deducting 300 VND per liter of gasoline, using 0 VND).

The joint ministry explained that the decision to reduce retail prices was made after the prices of finished petroleum products decreased over the past 15 days, averaging nearly 58.117 USD per barrel for RON 92 gasoline; kerosene was 57.193 USD per barrel, and diesel was 57.736 USD per barrel.

Domestic gasoline retail prices have undergone 12 adjustments since the beginning of the year. This is the sixth price reduction since the beginning of the year, a total reduction of VND2,248 per liter.
