Gasoline prices increased again on May 8
Each liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased to a maximum of 19,440 VND, RON 95 gasoline has a new price of 20,911 VND after adjustment.
According to the information on the adjustment of retail gasoline prices recently released by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, each liter of gasoline increased by 411-508 VND per liter depending on the type; oil products also increased by 336-399 VND per kg depending on the type. Along with that, the operator kept the same level of spending on the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund as the previous operating period 15 days ago.
Thus, after adjusting the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline, the maximum is 19,440 VND per liter; RON 95 gasoline is 20,911 VND per liter; diesel is no higher than 17,107 VND per liter, kerosene is 15,917 VND per liter and mazut is 13,759 VND per kg.

The price of ethanol E100 used to calculate the base price of E5 RON92 gasoline according to the announcement of the Ministry of Finance on petroleum business management is 14,916 VND per liter (excluding VAT).
The operator said that the average price of finished petroleum products in the world in the past 15 days has always been high. Specifically, RO gasolineN 92 used to blend E5 RON92 increased by 2.821 USD per barrel; RON 95 gasoline was at 83.432 USD per barrel, diesel oil increased to 86.080 USD per barrel.
In the most recent management period on April 23, the price of gasoline products was kept unchanged by the operator while the price of oil increased by 380 - 500 VND per liter. This is also the first management period that the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance included the base price of RON 95 gasoline in the calculation and announcement according to the direction of the Government.
