In the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, where the steadfast and indomitable revolutionary tradition and the spirit of constant innovation were forged, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee always identifies Party building and rectification as a key task, of decisive significance to all victories.
Adhering to the consistent leadership and direction of our Party on the country's overall development strategy of rapid and sustainable development; ensuring the connection and synchronous implementation of tasks: "Party building is key, socio-economic development associated with environmental protection is the central task, human cultural development is the foundation, ensuring national defense, security and foreign affairs are essential and regular".
Nghe An Party Committee has firmly set the goal of improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; building a contingent of cadres and Party members with strong political will, pure ethics, and enough prestige and capacity to shoulder the tasks of the new period; this is the solid political foundation, the spiritual support to consolidate the people's trust, arouse the strength of great national unity, bring Nghe An to develop rapidly and sustainably, realize the aspiration of Uncle Ho's homeland to rise up, become a fairly developed province, a national growth pole.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the leadership method of the Provincial Party Committee has clearly changed, demonstrated by its proactiveness, creativity and determination. Party committees at all levels have not only stopped at issuing resolutions, directives and plans but have focused on concretizing them with mechanisms, roadmaps and feasible solutions; linking the responsibility of the leader with the implementation results, ensuring the motto "words go hand in hand with actions".
This innovation has created substantial changes in the operations of the political system, improving the planning and implementation capacity of party organizations and the management effectiveness and efficiency of the government.
Propaganda work is identified as an important task, "going first to pave the way, accompanying the implementation and following the summary". The provincial Party Committee is persistent and creative in organizing the study and dissemination of the resolution; promptly orienting public opinion, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; strengthening trust, arousing the will to be self-reliant and self-reliant.
The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation has increasingly gone into depth, innovated its content and methods, and closely linked to the vivid realities of the locality. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become a pillar in Party building work, deployed regularly, synchronously with the spirit of self-awareness and closely linked to the political tasks of each locality, agency and unit. Thereby, many outstanding collectives and individuals have emerged, creating a strong spreading force, encouraging the emulation movement, arousing the spirit of dedication, labor and creativity.
Since the beginning of the term, the provincial level has commended 132 typical collectives and 142 typical individuals; at the district and grassroots levels, over 2,500 collectives and 3,500 individuals have been commended, reported on, exchanged, and reported on typical examples...
Mass mobilization work has been raised to a new level, clearly demonstrating the motto "people are the root", "people know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit". Party committees and authorities at all levels proactively listen, dialogue, and promptly resolve the legitimate aspirations of the people; at the same time, develop "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movements associated with the political tasks of each locality and field. Thereby, creating consensus in society, consolidating the close, flesh-and-blood relationship between the Party and the people increasingly firmly, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
Deeply aware that cadres are the decisive factor for the success or failure of the revolution, Nghe An Party Committee especially attaches importance to cadre work, carrying it out methodically and synchronously in conjunction with the requirement of building a streamlined, effective and efficient apparatus.
During the period of 2020 - 2025, the whole province mobilized, rotated, appointed, designated, and approved more than 600 cadres; of which, 289 were introduced for candidacy. The planning, training, and fostering work was carried out openly, transparently, and in accordance with principles; at the same time, cadre policies were regularly concerned, contributing to motivating and encouraging cadres to feel secure in their work and stay with the locality for a long time.
Công tác tổ chức bộ máy và phát triển đảng viên cũng đạt nhiều kết quả nổi bật. Tính đến tháng 8/2025, Đảng bộ Nghệ An đã kết nạp 23.215 đảng viên, đạt trên 103% chỉ tiêu nghị quyết, trong đó, số lượng đảng viên ở khu vực doanh nghiệp tư nhân tăng nhanh, minh chứng cho sức lan tỏa và uy tín lãnh đạo của Đảng trong toàn xã hội.
Trong lĩnh vực kiểm tra, giám sát, phòng, chống tham nhũng, tiêu cực, Đảng bộ tỉnh kiên định phương châm “giám sát mở rộng, kiểm tra có trọng tâm, trọng điểm”.
Nhiều vụ việc phức tạp, dư luận quan tâm đã được xử lý kịp thời, nghiêm minh, khẳng định quyết tâm chính trị trong xây dựng Đảng bộ trong sạch, vững mạnh. Nhiệm kỳ 2020 - 2025, Ủy ban kiểm tra các cấp giám sát đối với 5.090 lượt tổ chức đảng (giảm 18,23% so với nhiệm kỳ trước) và 7.560 lượt đảng viên (giảm 13,87% so với nhiệm kỳ trước). Cấp ủy và Ủy ban kiểm tra các cấp đã thi hành kỷ luật 52 tổ chức đảng và 5.337 đảng viên. Đây là minh chứng cho tinh thần nghiêm túc, công minh, bảo đảm kỷ luật, kỷ cương trong Đảng, củng cố niềm tin của Nhân dân vào sự lãnh đạo của Đảng.
Mặt trận Tổ quốc và các tổ chức chính trị - xã hội cũng không ngừng đổi mới, phát huy vai trò nòng cốt trong tập hợp, vận động các tầng lớp Nhân dân. Các phong trào thi đua yêu nước được triển khai rộng khắp, góp phần đưa nghị quyết của Đảng vào cuộc sống.
Những kết quả toàn diện trên lĩnh vực xây dựng Đảng đã nâng cao năng lực lãnh đạo, cầm quyền của Đảng bộ tỉnh, góp phần trực tiếp, quan trọng tạo nên những thành tựu to lớn về phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của tỉnh trong nhiệm kỳ.
Hơn 95 năm qua, Đảng luôn coi trọng công tác xây dựng Đảng, xem đây là nhiệm vụ then chốt, quyết định sức mạnh, uy tín của Đảng. Bước sang kỷ nguyên mới, kỷ nguyên phát triển hùng cường, thịnh vượng của dân tộc, công tác xây dựng Đảng càng cần được đổi mới toàn diện, mạnh mẽ để Đảng đủ năng lực tiếp tục giữ vững vai trò lãnh đạo, cầm quyền, làm tròn sứ mệnh tiên phong, xứng đáng là người cầm lái vĩ đại của cách mạng Việt Nam.
Trong dòng chảy ấy, Đảng bộ tỉnh Nghệ An - một trong những Đảng bộ lớn của cả nước tiếp tục phát huy truyền thống cách mạng, không ngừng đổi mới phương thức lãnh đạo, nâng cao năng lực cầm quyền, khẳng định vai trò hạt nhân chính trị ở địa phương, góp phần cùng cả nước hiện thực hóa khát vọng hùng cường trong kỷ nguyên mới. Để thực hiện thắng lợi mục tiêu đó, công tác xây dựng Đảng của Nghệ An cần tập trung vào một số nhiệm vụ trọng yếu:
