Effectively implement the resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels.
In 2022, the Do Luong District Party Committee promptly issued documents to lead, direct, and guide the implementation of political tasks in the district. In particular, it focused on disseminating information about the implementation of resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, the prevention and control of Covid-19, major events and holidays, and the project "Building the central urban area of Do Luong district to meet the criteria of a type IV urban area as a prerequisite for Do Luong district to become a town before 2030"; and issued Directive 07-CT/HU on building a new rural district, and communes achieving advanced and model new rural standards in the 2022-2025 period.

The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has led the organization of comprehensive and high-quality online learning sessions on the Party's Resolutions and Directives. Simultaneously, it has directed the development of programs, plans, and projects to concretize and adapt to the local situation in order to effectively implement Directive No. 14-CT/TU, dated December 20, 2021, of the Provincial Party Committee on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over the "All People Unite to Build a Culturally Rich Life" movement in Nghe An province until 2025 and beyond; Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW, dated February 10, 2022, of the Politburo on strategic orientation for geology, minerals, and mining industry; and Project No. 11-DA/TU, dated December 22, 2021, of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the effectiveness of directing, guiding, and handling press information. The district has issued a plan to implement Project No. 11-DA/TU, dated December 22, 2021, of the Provincial Party Committee on improving the effectiveness of directing, guiding, and handling press information in Nghe An province, giai đoạn 2021-2025. Simultaneously, it has organized the dissemination and implementation of Project No. 11. It has promptly and effectively reported on the preliminary and final summaries of Party Directives and Resolutions. The Steering Committee 35 has maintained its activities, regularly monitoring the situation, reviewing information, and promptly detecting, combating, and handling harmful and toxic information on the internet. Two workshops were held to revise, supplement, and compile the History of the Do Luong District Party Committee (1930 - 2020).
The total value of production (at current prices) in Do Luong district in 2022 is estimated at VND 23,714.99 billion, of which: Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries reached VND 3,208.51 billion; Industry and basic construction reached VND 12,209.9 billion; and services reached VND 8,296.55 billion. The economic structure proportions are: Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries 17.57%; Industry and construction 38.34%; and services estimated at 44.09%.

Over the past year, the Do Luong District Party Committee has developed and issued Guidance No. 10-HD/HU dated March 30, 2022, on the congresses of Party branches under grassroots Party committees, linked with the consolidation and election of village heads and block leaders for the 2022-2025 term; issued Circular No. 04-TTr/HU dated July 28, 2021, and Circular No. 05-TTr/HU dated November 2, 2021, on the congresses of the Veterans Association and the Youth Union at all levels for the 2022-2027 term, and successfully directed their implementation; and issued Guidance No. 09-HD/HU dated March 13, 2022, guiding some specific contents on cadre planning work.

Simultaneously, a conference was organized to address some difficulties and obstacles in personnel planning. The results of leadership and management personnel planning met the requirements regarding age structure, gender ratio, and the quality of planned personnel improved in both professional and political qualifications. The training and development of personnel was effectively implemented, ensuring that the training met the required standards and targeted individuals.
Develop Plan 108-KH/HU, dated March 10, 2022, on strengthening Party building and rectification and the political system; resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and Party members who have degenerated in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, and who exhibit "self-evolution" and "self-transformation." Review the five-year implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, of the Central Committee (12th term), on some issues concerning the continued reform and restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus to be streamlined, effective, and efficient, and Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, of the Central Committee (12th term) on continuing to reform the organizational and management system, and improving the quality and efficiency of public service units. Implementing Conclusion No. 189-KL/TU, dated June 10, 2020, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the Project "Developing Party organizations and Party members in private enterprises and enterprises with foreign investment".
In 2022, 202 outstanding individuals were admitted to the Party, achieving 101% of the target. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee is requested to consider awarding or posthumously awarding Party badges of various types to 854 comrades.
In addition, the district has successfully carried out its assigned political tasks in the areas of Party inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement; Party's mass mobilization work; internal affairs; and the building of the government, the Fatherland Front, and other political and social organizations and associations.

In 2023, Do Luong district continued to consolidate the criteria for a new rural district, with Do Luong town becoming a type 4 urban area. The district developed and implemented a plan to transform Do Luong into a town oriented towards commerce and services. It leveraged internal resources, mobilized and effectively utilized resources, promoted sustainable production and business development; ensured reasonable growth, and strived to successfully achieve the socio-economic, national defense, and security goals for 2023; ensuring social security and welfare, and improving the lives of the people. It continued to effectively implement plans and projects under the Action Program for implementing the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020-2025.
Do Luong District is a central driving force in the southwestern region of Nghe An province, favorable for socio-economic development, especially in the trade and service sector. The district's transportation system connects to six national highways, facilitating trade and the exchange of goods.
