Building solidarity between religions in the community

On the morning of July 25, the Provincial Agencies Party Committee summarized 2 years of implementing Project 01/DA-TU of the Provincial Party Committee on "Building Party cells, developing Party members in blocks, hamlets, and villages without Party cells, without Party members, and blocks, hamlets, and villages at risk of no longer having Party cells in the period 2016 - 2020".

Implementing Project 01-DA/TU, the Provincial Party Committee assigned 20 grassroots party organizations (TCCS) to support and help units under Project 01 in 5 districts of Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc, Do Luong, Hung Nguyen and Nam Dan.

20 Party organizations have established grassroots steering committees to develop plans to help assigned blocks and hamlets. First of all, the Party organizations have organized activities to help blocks and hamlets develop their economy, culture, society, and stabilize political security, social order and safety.

In addition, the Party's TCCS connects and interacts with the people and, together with the district and commune, participates in gradually supporting movements in the blocks and hamlets to create trust, nurture and discover outstanding masses.

By June 2018, 20/20 assigned units had donated and mobilized to help the hamlets with more than 1.3 billion VND, 150 warm clothes and 50 health insurance cards.

At the conference, many delegates shared their experiences in implementing the project's objectives, accessing the grassroots and understanding people's thoughts and aspirations.

In particular, many opinions noted helping people change their awareness of the Party's policies and the State's laws.

Delegates also emphasized that to increase the effectiveness of Project 01, it is necessary to have the participation of district and commune Party Committees and authorities, and to pay attention to directing grassroots Party Committees and authorities.

In addition to sharing experiences and methods of the units, the conference also recognized and assessed some difficulties and limitations in implementing Project 01-DA/TU, noting that some Party organizations did not regularly grasp the situation at the grassroots level, leading to slow implementation according to the set plan.

The implementation of the Project's goals still focuses heavily on material support, lacking solutions in detecting and helping elite masses and consolidating the grassroots political system.

To continue implementing the goals of Project 01-DA/TU, the conference identified the key task as coordinating propaganda to raise awareness among cadres and people about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and building solidarity between religions and non-religious people in the community.

In addition, other tasks include: Strengthening and improving the quality of organization and operation of the political system in the block and hamlet; Supporting the resolution of difficulties and problems at the grassroots level, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of Party committees, authorities as well as associations and unions at the grassroots level; Coordinating the implementation of the movement of the entire people uniting to build a cultural life in residential areas associated with new rural construction; building grassroots cultural institutions, developing production, building economic models, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty... thereby discovering positive factors for training and education.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies requested that the Party Cells assigned to implement Project 01 coordinate with relevant levels and sectors to continue to pay attention to educating and propagating the project's purpose, in which attention should be paid to creating an environment for the grassroots political system to operate effectively; paying attention to ways to create motivation, environment, and cohesive movements at the grassroots level to help active individuals have conditions to operate and contribute.
