Phuc Tho is a purely agricultural commune with a total natural area of 612.29 hectares; 2,067 households with 9,093 people distributed in 18 hamlets. The economic life of the people in the past mainly depended on agriculture. In recent years, combined with business, seafood fishing, shrimp farming, labor export, small-scale trading and other common labor occupations, the people's lives have been increasingly improved.
