Build more public restrooms on Vinh pedestrian street.
(Baonghean.vn) - Building public restrooms will help residents and tourists feel more comfortable when visiting and shopping on the pedestrian street in Vinh City, while also ensuring a green, clean, and beautiful environment.
During the recent operation of the pedestrian street, one of the issues of particular concern to locals and tourists alike was the insufficient number of public restrooms serving visitors, compared to the tens of thousands of people who flock there every night.

In fact, two public restrooms have been installed on the pedestrian streets: one at the pedestrian street management office at 49 Ho Tung Mau Street, and the second at Pho Hoa Cafe on Ho Tung Mau Street. Additionally, the Vinh City Youth Union has also installed public restroom signs at four cafes on Nguyen Van Cu and Ho Tung Mau streets to serve residents and tourists.

However, in reality, it is very difficult for people to identify the location of public restrooms due to inadequate and hard-to-see signage. Furthermore, the large number of people combined with the limited number of public restrooms frequently leads to overcrowding. The Ho Chi Minh Square Management Board has also submitted a request to Vinh City to provide more public restrooms because some people have been climbing over the fence of the simulated Chung Mountain area, causing unsanitary conditions and affecting the environment in the square.
In response to numerous comments and feedback,Vinh CityAn additional public restroom has been built on Nguyen Van Cu Street. In reality, with limited land in the city center, finding suitable space for public restrooms is very difficult. Furthermore, the city will revise signage to be more appropriate and encourage some businesses on pedestrian streets to offer additional services to customers.
