Building awareness of respecting people, promoting democracy, caring for people's lives

On the afternoon of December 14, the Central Propaganda Department coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy to organize an online conference to study the topic: "Building awareness of respecting people, promoting democracy, caring for people's lives according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style".

Attending the conference were comrade Vo Van Phuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department. At Nghe An bridge, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, districts, cities and towns.

At the conference, delegates listened to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Dinh Phong - senior lecturer of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics introduce the content of the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2019: "Building awareness of respecting people, promoting democracy, caring for people's lives according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; The Party's policies, tasks and solutions to build awareness of respecting people, promoting democracy, caring for people's lives in the current period.

The content of the topic emphasizes: Building awareness of respecting the people, promoting democracy, and caring for people's lives is the basic content of Ho Chi Minh's thought, creating great motivation for the innovation process, and at the same time is an important and urgent solution in building the Party, State and political system. Implementing this topic well in 2019 and the following years is to well implement Directive 05 of the 12th Politburo on "Continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle" in the current period.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed: Studying and following the style and manner of President Ho Chi Minh is very important in building awareness of respecting the people, promoting democracy, and caring for people's lives, which is the basic content of Ho Chi Minh's thought, enhancing awareness among cadres and party members, in order to create great momentum for the innovation process, contributing to promoting the building of a clean and strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics, building a socialist rule-of-law state of the people, by the people, for the people, and consolidating the political system in the current period.

After this conference, Party committees at all levels will coordinate with government and organization leaders to include the topic in the regular activities of Party cells; develop programs and plans to implement the topic suitable for each locality, agency, and unit.

In particular, focus on selecting existing limitations related to the content of the topic to overcome such as: Manifestations of lack of respect, lack of promotion of ownership, lack of care for people's lives. At the same time, link the implementation of this topic with the implementation plan of the Party's directives and resolutions, emulation movements of the industry, locality, agency, and unit.
