4-seater car plunged into river, 3 people died
In the middle of the night, a 4-seat car was driving on the road along the Hoai River (Quang Nam) when the driver suddenly plunged into the river.
At 0:00 on January 25, a family of 4 in Hanoi drove from Cam Nam ward (Hoi An city) towards Da Nang.

While passing through a village road near the Hoai River, the husband suddenly drove the car into the river. At this time, the daughter sitting in front managed to open the door and escape, while the couple (both 42 years old) and their son (6 years old) were in the car and sank into the water.

Rescuers searched all night. By 8:30 this morning (January 25), the bodies of the couple were brought to shore, while the body of the nephew was trapped in the car.
The car was located nearly 20 meters from shore, in water 4 meters deep. Authorities sent a crane to the scene to recover the car. At nearly 10:00 a.m., the 4-seater car was lifted ashore with broken windows and working wipers.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
